What inspired your career journey?
I was in tech for 10 years prior to getting into real estate. I always loved the idea of being in real estate and having a more flexible schedule. More importantly, as a woman, I didn’t like that there was a glass ceiling hovering over my head when I was in tech. I knew I was smart enough and a hard worker. So if I took the leap and started my own business, I knew that if I failed, I only had myself to blame. And if I succeeded, I could pat myself on the back.
What do you find most satisfying about your work?
Helping others. Seeing my clients’ faces light up when they find their dream home. Conversely, knowing my sellers always get the highest possible price with the best possible terms.
What motivates you in your life?
My “why” for the past 15 years has been my kiddo. She is on the autism spectrum and has taught me a lot about neurodiversity—the challenges and gifts that come with it. I’m her biggest fan and fiercest advocate.
Tell us about your own health challenge?
I almost died from a severe biotoxin illness brought on by an uncommon gene I have but my story will help change the way we approach health care. It will also help countless people who are suffering from chronic illness like MS, autism, lupus and auto immune disorders
